BE Group sells Lecor Stålteknik in Kungälv
BE Group sells Lecor Stålteknik to EAB. Lecor Stålteknik is specialized in pre-fabricated steel structures for construction and industrial projects and has been a separate part of BE Group since 2010. The turnover in 2021 amounted to SEK 82 M. The company employs approximately 35 people.
“Lecor Stålteknik has developed positively in the last few years but differs significantly from BE Group’s core business. Therefore, we have taken the decision to sell the business and we are convinced that EAB will be able to develop the company further”, says Peter Andersson, President and CEO at BE Group.
In connection with the transfer, BE Group and EAB has also signed a letter of intent regarding continuous close and trusting cooperation.
“The cooperation between EAB and Lecor has been going on for a long time and we know what high capacity and quality they are always providing. EAB has had and has a strong growth within our product area steel buildings. With this comes an increased need for production capacity so that we can continue to be a reliable supplier to our customers. Lecor’s modern production facility and knowledge capital makes us feel very positive to, from now on, include the business as well as employees in our corporate family”, says Per-Åke Andersson, CEO EAB.
The take-over takes place on July 1. The sale is estimated to have a marginal impact on the result for business area Sweden & Poland in 2022.
